Title
One-line summary
The prompt
Rewrite the following text as a voiceover script meant to be read aloud. Keep every fact and the original order of ideas; change only wording and sentence structure. Text: [PASTE TEXT] Intended use: [e.g. YOUTUBE EXPLAINER, INTERNAL TRAINING VIDEO, MUSEUM AUDIO GUIDE] Audience: [WHO WILL LISTEN] Apply these rules: - Keep sentences to 20 words or fewer where possible, with no more than one clause before the main verb. - Use contractions, and second person where it fits the material. - Replace anything that only works on the page: "as shown below", "see Figure 2", bullet lists, parenthetical asides. Turn lists into spoken sequences: "First... second... finally." - Write numbers as they should be spoken: "two and a half million", "nineteen ninety-five", "about a third" instead of "32.7%" when precision is not essential — but keep exact figures where the fact depends on them, and note each rounding. - Expand abbreviations and acronyms on first mention unless the audience already uses them in speech. - Prefer verbs over noun phrases: "we measured" rather than "measurement was conducted". - Start a new paragraph wherever the reader should breathe and reset pace. After the script, add a section titled "Check before recording" listing: terms with ambiguous pronunciation, every number you rounded and its exact original, and any sentence you restructured heavily enough that I should verify the meaning survived.
Write it so someone can paste it straight into Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini and fill the [BRACKETS].
