Build the sprint as follows. 1) Decompose the target capability into 4-8 sub-skills ordered by dependency, and mark which are bottlenecks — the ones that unlock the most downstream ability. 2) For each week: one primary sub-skill, a practice task that produces an artifact (something written, built, or solved — never just read the material), and a pass/fail check I can score myself on without an instructor. 3) Retrieval schedule: for each week, list which earlier weeks' material to self-test on before starting anything new, using expanding intervals so older material comes back less often but never disappears. 4) Write the actual self-tests for weeks 1 and 2 now — five application-level questions each, answers grouped at the end. 5) Failure protocol: for each week, the most likely way I fall behind and a pre-decided adjustment that names what to cut — never an instruction to try harder. 6) Final assessment: an end-of-sprint task that directly demonstrates the target capability, with a scoring rubric of 4-6 criteria and what a pass looks like on each. If my time budget cannot realistically reach the target, say so up front and propose either a longer sprint or a reduced target — do not silently thin out the plan to fit.
