Design the deck around the tasks, not around topics. Work backward: for each task, decide what the learner needs to see demonstrated, practice, and get feedback on, then allocate slides and time to that. Lecture-style content slides should carry no more than a third of the session time.
Output, in order:
1. Learning objectives — rewrite my task list as observable objectives ("After this session you can X"), and flag any that cannot realistically be practiced within the session length.
2. Session map — a table of segments with slide numbers, minutes, and segment type: demonstration, guided practice, independent practice, discussion, or recap.
3. The slides — for each: headline, bullets or exercise instructions, speaker notes with facilitation guidance (what to ask, what to watch for, common wrong answers and how to respond), and a one-line visual direction.
4. Checks — one quick comprehension check roughly every ten minutes: the question to pose, the correct answer, and the most likely wrong answer with what that error reveals.
